Florida Institute of Government offering Ethics Course

The Florida Institute of Government is offering a 4 hour video course for government elected and appointed officials, staff members, and attorneys. During the course staff members from the Attorney General’s Office and the Florida Commission on Ethics will explain what is expected of those in public service at the state and local levels. This 4 hour course meets the following requirements and provides a certificate of completion for: 1 hour Open Records, 1 hour Open Meetings, and 2 hours Florida Ethics (Voting and Gift Laws). The cost for the course is $79.00 and includes all course materials, 24/7 access to online course videos for 180 days and certificate of completion.

 

Online registration will be available beginning September 1, 2015. To register now please fill out the registration form and submit it by e-mailing cshell@iog.fsu.edu or faxing the registration form to (850) 487-0041. Then, please call to pay via credit card over the phone (850-487-1870).  Once payment information is received our staff will issue each participant an access code for the course.
