The Honorable Sharon R. Bock, Esq., (Palm Beach) was recognized on January 20, at Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse’s 9th Annual Heart of a Woman Luncheon celebrating “30 Years 30 Faces – The Survivors, the Champions and Those Who Serve and Protect.” Clerk Bock is a long-time advocate for ending domestic violence and abuse through social change.
Since taking office in 2005, Clerk Bock has been committed to educating the community and partnering with domestic violence service providers. Clerk Bock has made it a priority to build a culture of awareness of domestic violence at the Clerk’s office, which has an 85 percent female staff.
For the tenth consecutive year, Clerk Bock and her more than 750 employees collected hundreds of items to fulfill AVDA’s “Wish List” during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Since 2006, Clerk and Comptroller employees have donated more than $17,000 to support programs and services provided by AVDA.
