Wednesday, December 13, 2017   (0 Comments)

The next Constitution Revision Commission (CRC) Committee Week begins tomorrow in Tallahassee, with a number of committees meeting (view meeting schedule).

Of specific interest to Clerks and Comptrollers, on Wednesday, December 13, at 8 a.m., EST, the
Ethics and Elections Committee, chaired by Commissioner Hank Coxe, is scheduled to meet (view meeting notice) and will continue its discussion of Proposal 13 by Commissioner Carolyn Timmann (co-introducers Commissioners Chris Nocco and Emery Gainey), which was last heard by the committee during its meeting on November 29 and temporarily postponed due to time constraints.

To view Wednesday’s meeting—or any of this week’s events—you may watch live via The Florida Channel by selecting the “Live Streams” tab from the menu on the right-hand side of your screen, then scrolling down to select the stream for the committee of interest. Similar to legislative committee meetings, events on the Live Streams schedule begin streaming about 10 minutes prior to their scheduled start times. Audio is available when the event is officially convened by the chair. Full video recordings of all CRC committee meetings are available through The Florida Channel’s video library dedicated to the CRC.

In addition, during its meeting on November 29, the CRC Rules and Administration Committee approved the following committee meeting dates in January and early February 2018:

·         January 11-12

·         January 18-19

·         January 25-26

·         February 1-2

The next CRC Committee Week will be the week of January 11-12, 2018, with specific meeting allocations and locations being announced at a later date.
