Florida Courts E-Filing Authority meets

Tuesday, December 19, 2017   (0 Comments)

The Florida Courts E-Filing Authority Board of Directors held a regular meeting on Thursday, December 14, 2017.

Carolyn Weber, E-Filing Portal Project Manager, reported to the Board that, for the month of November, there were 176,338 registered users and almost 1.8 million documents filed through the portal. Gia Howell, FCCC Portal Service Desk Supervisor, reported that, in November, there were 2,440 service desk calls that were acknowledged in 23 minutes and resolved in 1 hour and 7 minutes.  The total number of calls were down from October, which is a normal trend as the number of filings also decreases during this time of year.

Lynn Hoshihara, General Counsel, presented an amended Policy for Audit Services, to institute a bid process once an audit firm has been used for five years. This revision to the process was adopted by the Board. Ms. Hoshihara also presented a draft Website Posting Policy for members to review and discuss at the next meeting.

The accounting firm, Lanigan & Associates, P.C. presented the audited financial statements and operating controls, providing the Authority with unqualified audits. The next meeting of the Board will be held in conjunction with the FCCC Winter Conference in Ft. Myers on February 27, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. E-Filing Authority information can be found at www.myflcourtaccess.com
