Thursday, May 17, 2018   (0 Comments)

In observance of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Orange County Clerk’s Office will be hosting a special lunch and learn event on Friday, May 25, 2018, from 12:00 - 2 p.m., to raise awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

The event, ‘My Health Matters’ Health and Wellness Lunch & Learn, will include health presentations, wellness screenings, giveaways, and in-person meet-and-greets with the Mental Health Association of Central Florida, Orlando Health, the YMCA, and Cigna.

Hear useful information from keynote speaker Dr. David Cavalleri, who will provide insight on how to deal with trauma in his presentation, "Reflections of Trauma."

“This month is devoted to understanding the important needs of our individual health with a primary focus on mental health,” said Clerk Tiffany Moore Russell. “The #MyHealthMatters initiative is a collective partnership I wanted to build to inform the community about valuable resources available to help them.”
