KEYNOTE speakers

 


The conference kicks off on Wednesday, February 26, with the Welcome Session featuring keynote speaker Dr. Mario Garcia, or “Dr. Mario,” as he is more commonly known, a Master NeuroStrategic Coach & Trainer and Executive & Business Results Coach who has specialized in personal breakthroughs since 1992. Dr. Mario’s presentation, Mastering Influence & Confidence, will help you become a master of influence and increase your confidence by discovering timeless strategies designed to help you increase the quality of your life, discover new distinctions, and implement innovative ways to create more possibilities.

 

Dr. Mario coaches, trains and speaks all over the globe, having presented in 56 countries on the topics of Strategic Leadership, Building High Performance Teams, and Communications Intelligence in a Volatile, Uncertain, Confused, and Ambiguous (VUCA) global environment. He has a juris doctorate degree from the University of Miami School of Law, and a doctor of ministry degree from Knox Theological Seminary.


 

On Thursday, February 27, the General Session will feature keynote speaker Jeffrey Cleveland, a Principal and the Chief Economist at Payden & Rygel, where he is responsible for developing views on the U.S. and global economy. His presentation, Everything You Know About the U.S. Economy Is Wrong, will highlight the top misconceptions about the U.S. economy, covering economic growth, unemployment, and inflation trends. It will examine what the economic trends mean for stocks, bonds, interest rates, and the central bank in the year ahead, and end with an assessment of longer-term indicators.

Mr. Cleveland’s research areas include macroeconomics, central banks and the money markets, money supply, credit cycles, housing, state and local governments and regional economics. He frequently appears on TV and radio media shows, such as CNBC, Bloomberg Television, and Fox Business News, to discuss financial markets and the economy. Cleveland has a master’s degree in International Political Economy with an emphasis in international money and finance from Claremont Graduate University, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics/Global Political Economy from Whittier College.
