Conversations on these forums could be subject to Florida’s Government in the Sunshine Law. For those Clerks of the Court who serve on public bodies comprised of Clerks (such as the Florida Courts E-Filing Authority or the Florida Clerks of Court Operations Corporation), the Florida’s Government in the Sunshine Law, (Section 286.011, F.S.) could apply to conversations on these forums. For Clerks who serve as board members on a public body, any conversation or discussion among Clerks that involves matters which foreseeably could come before the board must be held in accordance with the requirements of s. 286.011, F.S.
