Pasco Clerk’s husband appointed as Sixth Circuit Judge

Tuesday, December 22, 2015   (0 Comments)

Gov. Rick Scott appointed Declan Mansfield, 64, husband to the Honorable Paula S. O’Neil, Ph.D. (Pasco), to the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court bench on Friday. Mansfield is an attorney with nearly four decades of law experience and is currently a partner at Bianco & Mansfield, P.A., in New Port Richey.

The Fordham University School of Law graduate will replace 21-year Sixth Circuit veteran Judge William Webb, who is set to retire at the end of the year. The Sixth Circuit comprises Pinellas and Pasco counties.

"Declan has many years of experience in the courtroom and demonstrates a clear understanding of the law," Scott said in a news release Friday. "I'm confident in his ability to serve Florida families on the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court bench."
