The Honorable Billy Washington (Madison) and the Honorable Doug Chorvat Jr., CGCIO, CPM (Hernando), FCCC President, were invited to speak to a Florida State University Local Government class about the role of Clerks and Comptrollers. Although the professor periodically invites guest speakers, this was the first time the class had local elected officials present. He expressed interest in continuing to invite Clerks to speak in future semesters.
