The Honorable Paula S. O’Neil, Ph.D. (Pasco), for the sixth consecutive year, has received the GFOA Distinguished Budget Presentation Award, which honors the office’s commitment to meeting or exceeding the highest principles of government financial planning.
Planning efforts must satisfy nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation. The Clerk and Comptroller’s budget document was rated “proficient” or “outstanding” for each of 27 criteria within six evaluation categories.
