CRC wraps up committee weeks, begins “Road to the Ballot” public hearing tour

The Constitution Revision Commission (CRC) wrapped up its tenth scheduled committee week last Friday in Tallahassee and this week will begin its second round of statewide public hearings.

 

Thank you to the Honorable Marcia M. Johnson (Franklin), FCCC President, Honorable Tiffany Moore Russell, Esq. (Orange), the Honorable Stacy M. Butterfield, CPA (Polk), the Honorable Barry Baker (Suwannee), the Honorable Gwen Marshall (Leon), the Honorable Laura E. Roth, Esq. (Volusia), the Honorable Brent X. Thurmond, CPA (Wakulla) and the Honorable Billy Washington (Madison) for attending last week’s Local Government Committee meeting. And a special thanks to the Honorable Carolyn Timmann (Martin) for her continued service on the CRC.

 

This week, the CRC begins its next round of statewide public hearings. The first stop on the CRC’s 2018 “Road to the Ballot” public hearing tour will be tomorrow, February 6, 2018, from 1 – 7 p.m., EST, at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
