The Honorable Neil Kelly (Lake) served his final days as the Clerk of Lake County last week, before being honored during a retirement ceremony on Thursday, June 28.
Clerk Kelly retires after serving as Clerk since 2007, and a total of 31 years in Lake County. The Honorable Marcia Johnson (Franklin), outgoing FCCC President, recognized Clerk Kelly’s leadership while serving as Clerk in her speech at the 2018 Summer Conference 40th Anniversary Celebration. During the retirement reception on Thursday, Sean Hudson presented Clerk Kelly with the Clerk Recognition Award on behalf of the association, recognizing his many years of service to Lake County. Also in attendance at the reception were the Honorable Barry Baker (Suwannee), the Honorable Stacy Butterfield (Polk), and the Honorable Tim Sanders (Jefferson).
