Governor Ron DeSantis announced, on October 8, 2021, the appointment of Justin “Tyler” McNeil as Jefferson County Supervisor of Elections. McNeil, of Monticello, was previously the Chief Deputy Clerk of Court in the Jefferson County Clerk of Court’s office where he also served as the Director of Human Resources and has been with the office since 2007.
He also chairs the Aucilla Christian Academy Board of Directors, is Vice President of the Jefferson County Teachers Credit Union Board of Directors and is a Board Member for Jefferson County Youth Outreach. Mr. McNeil earned his bachelor’s degree in English literature from Florida State University.
