The Honorable Roger Eaton (Charlotte) and the Charlotte Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller's office was named 2021 business of the year on October 6, by the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce. The award recognized the hard work, empathy, and efficiency of all Clerk’s office staff. Clerk Eaton said “It’s especially rewarding to me that my team, as a group, received this honor for our efforts during COVID-19. During difficult times, our office excelled – which is the mark of an excellent organization. I couldn’t be prouder of my clerks, and am thrilled that everyone in our office was recognized by the community for their efforts.”
