Monroe Clerk’s wife receives highest U.S. award for science teachers

Katrina Madok, a fifth-grade/gifted science teacher at Gerald Adams Elementary School in Key West, Florida, and wife of the Honorable Kevin Madok, CPA (Monroe) was named one of 117 U.S. teachers and mentors to receive the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, on Tuesday, February 8. President Joe Biden named 117 teachers, mentors, and mentoring organizations as recipients of the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) and Presidential Awards for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring (PAESMEM).

 

Mrs. Madok was one of two Florida educators to receive this award.
