CJJIS Council Holds Regular Meeting

The Criminal and Juvenile Justice Information Systems (CJJIS) Council held a virtual meeting on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, to review and provide multiple updates on systems and projects as part of the ongoing criminal justice initiatives in Florida.
 
Of note, some of the updates provided included a legislative overview, federal funding update, BIS Modernization Project, National Rap Back, FBI CJIS Security Policy Modernization, auditing and compliance, and data sharing projects.
 
The association would like to thank the Honorable Carolyn Timmann (Martin) for her continued service on the CJJIS Council. Clerk Timmann has served on the council, representing Clerks of Court, since being a Governor's appointee in March 2014.
 
The next regular meeting of the CJJIS Council is scheduled for November 29, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., ET., at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), 2331 Phillips Road, Tallahassee, FL 32308. Additional details will be provided when available.
