Legislative Update

Last week, 2023 Clerk priority bill,SB 1130 Clerk of Courts, sponsored by Senator Hutson unanimously passed its first committee in the Senate. In attendance for the bill presentation were the Honorable Carolyn Timmann (Martin), FCCC President, the Honorable Stacy M. Butterfield, CPA (Polk), FCCC Legislative Chair, the Honorable Gregory C. The FCCC legislative and lobby teams are continuing to work on key meetings to ensure the bills are in the best position possible for success during session. Membership will continue to be notified when the bills are scheduled to be heard in the House and Senate.
