Senator Travis Hutson Receives FCCC 2023 Senate Legislator of the Year Award

Senator Travis Hutson was awarded the Florida Court Clerks & Comptrollers' (FCCC) 2023 Senate Legislator of the Year Award. Senator Hutson sponsored the Clerk priority bill, SB 1130 Clerks of the Court, in the Senate. Last week, the Senator attended the 2023 FCCC Summer Conference to visit with Clerks and Comptrollers and receive the award. The award was presented by the Honorable Carolyn Timmann (Martin), 2022-2023 FCCC President. The Honorable Barry Baker (Suwannee), 2023-2024 FCCC President, the Honorable Bandon Patty (St. Johns), the Honorable Stacy Butterfield (Polk), FCCC Legislative Chair, and the Honorable Tara S. Green (Clay), CCOC Legislative Chair, joined President Timmann for the award presentation.
Senator Hutson accepted the award and provided brief remarks about the sponsorship of the Clerk bill and other priorities passed during the 2023 Legislative Session. Senator Hutson’s leadership and sponsorship of the Clerk bill were crucial to the successful Session, and Florida’s Clerks of Court and Comptrollers and FCCC are grateful for Senator Hutson’s support this Session.
