The Clay County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller's Office has recently launched an innovative Low Bono Program, offering affordable legal assistance to citizens involved in Family Law and Probate cases. Through a partnership with local attorneys, the Clerk's office provides a dedicated space at the main courthouse where self-represented litigants can meet with attorneys for 30 or 60-minute consultations at a reduced cost. To streamline this process, the Clerkâs IT Department developed custom online scheduling software specifically for this program. This initiative not only enhances community outreach but also is "Elevating the Clerk Brand," by delivering a valuable service to all parties involved. |

The Palm Beach County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller's Office is "Increasing Clerk Engagement" with the launch of a new outreach event, the Community Resource Fair. Held on September 21, 2024, the fair brought together government agencies, nonprofit groups, and community partners to provide a "one-stop shop" for residents to access essential services, including payment plans for traffic tickets and court cases, as well as driver license, ID, and motor vehicle registration services.
The event featured 19 government and nonprofit organizations and was co-sponsored by the City of Boynton Beach, which generously provided its community space at no cost. Additionally, all participating organizations took part free of charge.
