Clerks Hold Special Valentine's Day Wedding Ceremonies

| This was the 17th year the Pasco County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller’s Office hosted their Annual Valentine’s Day Wedding Ceremony. To date, its office has married more than 300 couples during the one-day event. This year, 23 couples tied the knot! |

| Love was in the air this Valentine’s Day, as 16 couples “tied the knot” in a special group wedding ceremony officiated by the Honorable Tiffany Moore Russell, Esq. (Orange), FCCC President. The event occurred in front of the steps of the Orange County Courthouse in downtown Orlando. The group wedding ceremony was a memorable experience, offering couples a commemorative certificate, professional wedding photos, a delicious treat, and a special gift. |

| On Valentine’s Day, couples tied the knot during a group wedding and vow renewal ceremony at The Carriage House in downtown St. Augustine. The Honorable Brandon J. Patty (St. Johns), said "The successful event highlights his office’s commitment to serving the residents of St. Johns County." |

One couple, who met at a YMCA gym program for cancer survivors, became fishing buddies who later fell in love. After Rebecca Reese attended a family event with her beau, Darrel Hubbard, Jr., she knew he was the one. The couple, currently fighting cancer together and supporting each other along the way, says getting married on Valentine’s Day is a dream come true.

Another couple who were married during the group ceremony met during a humanitarian mission in the Philippines. The dual-military Navy couple said they wanted to seal the deal with their spouse during the special event in historic downtown St. Augustine. The ceremony was officiated by the Honorable Judge Howard O. McGillin, Jr.

 | On the most romantic day of the year, the Honorable Stacy M. Butterfield, CPA, (Polk) united 20 couples in matrimony during her 12th Annual Valentine’s Day Group Wedding. The ceremony took place at 12:00 p.m., ET, on the historic lawns of Fort Blount Park in Bartow.
“This special day marks the beginning of a beautiful journey for these couples,” said Clerk Butterfield. “It is an honor to witness their love and commitment as they start this new chapter together.” |
