Charlotte County Clerk's Office Supports the AWL

Throughout June, the Charlotte County Clerk and Comptroller's Office collected essential items for the Animal Welfare League (AWL) through “Roger’s Rescue” and a series of fundraising events. These heavily attended fundraising events included Clerk Paws on Wheels, Bark-O Bingo, Sub Up for Shelter Pets Lunch, and Pastries for Paws.

Last Tuesday, Clerk Eaton visited the AWL to present a $7,200 contribution and donate more than 575 pet products. These generous donations support AWL's mission to save the lives of more than 2,500 homeless animals each year by providing them with safe shelter, nutritious food, medical care, and the love they deserve as they await their forever homes.

"Serving our community by making a difference in the lives of pets in need at the Animal Welfare League is exceedingly rewarding,” said Clerk Eaton.
