In August, the Volusia County Clerk’s Office participated in the DeLand Rotary Club’s Annual Bowling for Literacy event, which provides books to every third-grade student across 33 West Volusia County schools. Thirty teams competed, and Team Clerk took first place.

In the fall, the Santa Rosa County Clerk and Comptroller's Office consistently goes above and beyond in serving its community. The office supports several charitable initiatives, including a food drive for individuals experiencing homelessness, a drive to gather essential items for the elderly and donate them to a local nursing facility, and a toy drive benefiting the Santa Rosa Kids House. Before each school year begins, staff also collect school supplies for the Santa Rosa Kids House. Employees fundraise for Survivors Led Solutions, an organization dedicated to combating human trafficking. This season of giving is one the office looks forward to every year.
