The function of this five-member committee is to provide ongoing oversight of the business and program policies and operations of the association and, within this capacity, shall serve as the Association’s Budget and Personnel Committees.

The function of the Nominating Committee is to meet prior to March 31 to select and submit to the general membership nominations for the various offices and boards of the Association.
Article X, Section 1 of the Association Bylaws provides that the committee shall be chaired by the immediate Past President, with the Committee composed of the current President and one representative elected by each of the seven districts.
The committee membership is selected by the seven district caucuses.

The Bylaws Committee is charged with reviewing the Constitution of the association and making recommendations for modifications or changes when deemed appropriate.

The function of the Legislative Committee is to develop and promote a legislative program for each session of the Legislature that is reflective of the statutory requirements, duties and responsibilities of the office.
In addition, it is the responsibility of the committee to monitor the legislative process relative to proposed legislation that might present either a negative or positive impact on statutory functions and, in response, develop an appropriate agenda.

The function of this committee is to develop and implement both a short and long-term strategic agenda to address issues of concern relating to the enhancement of the public, statutory, and constitutional positions of the offices of Clerk and Comptroller.

The Budget Committee reviews the Association’s financial records and oversees development of the annual budget.
The Budget Committee is chaired by the Association Treasurer and is comprised of the members of the Executive Committee.

The function of the Best Practices Committee is to identify and develop best business practices to enhance the services provided by the Clerks and Comptrollers to the public.

The function of the Court Operations Committee is to develop and implement operational and administrative programs to address identified needs.

The purpose of the Comptroller & Clerk to the Board Committee is to analyze issues and promote the role of the Comptroller.

The function of the Education Committee is to develop and implement a program of education and training for Clerks and Comptrollers and their staff, related to the duties and responsibilities
of the Office.

The New Clerk Academy was created to develop the training curricula for new Clerks & Comptrollers, in order to assist them in earning 240 hours of classes required to attain certification.
This curriculum covers core functions of the Clerk’s office along with management approaches, leadership development in a rapidly changing environment.

The purpose of the Conference Subcommittee is to provide oversight and assist the professional team with planning for the Florida Court Clerks & Comptrollers' three annual conferences each year.

The function of the Communications Committee is to develop and implement programs for the enhancement of public perception of the duties and responsibilities of the offices of Clerk and Comptroller, and provide a means of information flow relative to the activities of the association and the membership.

The function of the Strategic Technology Committee is to provide program and policy direction and coordination relating to the application of technology within the offices of Clerks and Comptrollers and to provide development and management oversight for association-sponsored applications.

Civitek is organized for the purpose of implementing and managing various business aspects of the association’s programs.

The Civitek Committee is comprised of seven members, elected each year in district caucus.

The committee meets quarterly and is responsible for making the policy and operational decisions for Civitek, including an annual budget and annual report to the membership.

The Audit Committee’s primary objective is to assist the Board of Directors in fulfilling their financial oversight responsibilities and fiduciary duties. The audit function applies to all audit services performed on behalf of the Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers and its subsidiary organizations.
