| Clay County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller's Office The Clay County Clerk and Comptroller’s Office is proud to announce the debut of Pieces of Our Past, a new historical exhibit now on display on the fourth floor of the main courthouse. The installation is open to all courthouse visitors and employees and offers a unique opportunity to experience local history through art, preservation, and community collaboration.
The collection features full‑size windows salvaged from a historic Green Cove Springs home, paired with archival photographs curated by the Clerk’s Historical Archives Division.
The exhibit is the result of a strong community partnership. Members of the Village Improvement Association (VIA) contributed their time and artistic talent to create each piece, and the Clerk’s Facilities Support team prepared and installed the display.
Pieces of Our Past will be available for viewing through April. Each window includes captions offering additional historical context.
The handmade pieces have already generated interest from visitors. The VIA plans to hold an online auction of the artwork after the exhibit concludes, likely in May or June. |
