Case Weights Interactive Workshop Concludes
12 hours ago
The Florida Clerks of Court Operations Corporation (CCOC), led by Executive Director Jason Welty and his team, recently brought together Clerks and staff from across the state for a collaborative Case Weights Interactive Workshop. The purpose of the workshop was to revisit, refine, and modernize the Case Weight Guide, an essential tool used to ensure proper funding and resource allocation within Clerks' offices.
Held at the Hard Rock in Daytona Beach, the workshop served as a focused environment where 104 participants, including 11 Clerks and Comptrollers, engaged in a deep dive into the complexities of case processing. Representatives from multiple counties compared workflows, shared best practices, and examined variations in operational demands. Through open dialogue and in-depth discussions, the group developed a more accurate and uniform case weight system reflecting the realities of today’s Clerk workload. |
