 | Polk County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller's Office
This summer, the Polk County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller’s Office launched a new criminal records portal. The upgrade provides enhanced access to records. The new system has improved processing times, automated manual processes, and streamlined information sharing with other agencies. The scope of this project was immense: 1.9 million criminal cases, 28.7 million document pages, and more than 143 million lines of data had to be successfully converted into the new system. It took thousands of hours and the unwavering dedication of an awesome team. To view the portal, visit PolkCountyClerk.net. |

 | Highlands County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller's Office
The Highlands County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller's Office is thrilled to dive into its community impact work. In April, the office took part in the United Way Day of Caring. A crew of nine clerks plunged into action, assisting with the cleanup of the Nu-Hope Avon Park Senior Meal and Activity Center, preparing it to resurface with on-site meal preparation and service after their renovation.
Additionally, the office continues its Jeans for Charity program. Each week, employees chip in $1 to rock their jeans on Fridays. This year, the program has expanded to include a special quarterly Shirts for Charity initiative. For an extra monthly donation, employees can sport a themed shirt once a quarter. So far, the office has been making waves with football jerseys and Hawaiian shirts. At the end of the year, employees cast their votes on their favorite charities, and the funds raised are donated to the top two organizations. Most recently, Lindsey's Wish, a children's cancer charity, and New Testament Church and Mission, a homeless shelter and food kitchen, received these donations. These charities have such a positive impact on our community, and the Highlands County Clerk's office is proud to support them. |
